Summer, aka Taylor, is the owner of Pole Palace, she has been a dancer from the early age of 2, with vast experience in many dance styles including; jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, modern, contemporary, musical theater, acrobatics, gymnastics and also singing. A born performer, Summer took up Pole Dancing in mid 2008 and has not looked back since! With her dance technique, musicality and flair for entertaining, she fell in love with pole from her very first class and from day one she knew she was made for it. Summer has been teaching, performing and competing professionally, nationally and internationally since 2009, she has held many competition titles over the years and has helped many of her students acheive their goals and go onto competing as well. After years of hard training, competing and traveling all over the world to perform and teach pole dancing she decided to take a big leap and open up Pole Palace! It has always been a dream of Summer's to own a dance school of some kind and now that has finally come true and she couldn't be happier!
Chilli is one of the most well known pole dancers and showgirls in the industry! In 2018 Chilli was nominated Number 1 Most Influential Pole Dancer in Australia! She has over 10years experience and has taught and performed all over the world! She is the amazing host of the largest competition in Australia - Miss Pole Dance Australia, as well as most other shows and competitions in the industry. She has a smile that will light up any room and her energy is infectious! Chilli is a fantastic instructor and you're always bound to have a great class with plenty of laughs!
Maddie is a little ray of sunshine!!! She started dancing when she was 11 years old and by the time she was 13 she was into every and any class she could be doing up to 24+ hours a week doing 2 age groups in troupes, solos, duos and more! She was competing in eistedfords, regionals and national competitions up until she was 18. Maddie has performed at a tonne of cool places like the Easter show, Paralympics and the Mardi Gras parade! She then finished school and did a year of full time dancing at
Ev & Bow and completed her Certificate 3 and now she is here at Pole Palace. She has a beautiful smile, is super friendly, a hard worker and a fantastic and knowledgeable teacher!
Angelique is trained in multiple dance styles, pole, aerial and flying trapeze. She has trained with Brent Street Studios Sydney, Alvin Alley, The Edge and attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. She has worked along side artists Kelly Clarkson, Anya Day, Rouge Traders and Mig Ayesa and performed as a dancer on Carnival Cruise Lines.
Angelique is currently performing at Slide in their burlesque show 'Risque Revue’.
Edie (pronounced EEE-DEEE =P) has been performing since the age of 4, from Gymnastics, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Cheerleading and also Pole Dancing. Having toured internationally for cheerleading in 2004, and then teaching pole dancing for 2 years, Edie's passion lies in the world of Aerials and Cirque! Starting out with Silks in 2016, and wanting to keep pushing and challenging herself, Edie took up Lyra in March of 2017, within 4 months she went on to win Miss Lyra NSW (Intermediate), followed by placing 2nd at the National - Miss Lyra Australia in October, (all within 7 months of starting her Lyra journey). No stranger to being on stage, Edie has performed at many student showcases, pole comps, Quirky Circus Festival and has competed at the big top circus tent as a finalist for the Pre-Professional category for the Australian Circus Festival (where she shared the arena with both local and international acts). Edie previously taught aerials at Sydney University, and is one of the judges for the Miss Lyra Australia state heats (including NSW and VIC) for 2018.
Harley discovered her love for pole dancing in 2004 when she was handed a flyer at a train station and decided to give it a go. Class after class it became her obsession. A pioneer of competitive doubles pole dancing, in 2008 Harley took out the titles of Miss Pole Dance NSW and Australia! Over the years, Harley has continued her craft as a dancer and teacher with a particular interest in doubles and technical freestyle. After taking a step back from teaching for a few year to have her 2 gorgeous kids, she is excited to be back into teaching and with the Palace.
Kelly was trained in jazz, Tap & ballet from a young age. She has perform as a professional showgirl overseas throughout her adult life. Pole has been a part of her life for 15 years, Kelly has performed & competed throughout the years in Australia and overseas.
Now that her 3 kids are adults she is excited to be part of the Palace team & to spread the word that feeling strong & sexy has no age limit!
Miss Tash is full of sass! Introducing the amazing Spinning Chair to Pole Palace as well as her killer Heels class! Having been a dancer all her life, she picked up pole fairly quickly and instantly fell in love with it! Tash was born for teaching, she is so incredibly helpful and patient, so naturally she is now a teacher at Pole Palace!
Troy is a professional dancer, acrobat and aerialist. Since the age of 18, after he completed his Certificate IV in Dance, Troy was offered his first cruise ship contract with Royal Caribbean. After 4 successful contracts at sea as a dancer, acrobat and aerialist he started auditioning and looking for work in Sydney - in which he recently completed a production of “FAUST” as a dancer/acrobat with Opera Australia, as well as starred in Jordan Dennis’ music video “The Link”. While Troy is home he is making the most of teaching dance, acrobatics and stretch + strengthen classes to share his knowledge and passion for the arts with others.
Rochelle moved to Sydney from New Zealand at the age of 17. She began her dance training from the age of 3, over the years she was trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballroom and Latin. After completing a Dance course at Ettingshausens she decided to add Pole dancing to her repertoire. Pole dancing quickly became her main focus and passion.
