FAQs

What do I wear to class?!

For all pole classes you will need your skin to grip to the pole! So, for warm up you can wear tights, dance pants, trackies or anything you want that you're able to move around and stretch in, then for the class, we suggest some shorts or hotpants and some high heels! The heels are of course completely optional, so don't think that you have to wear them! They're just for fun and they make your legs look FABULOUS! ;)

For Flex, Strength, Aerial, Showgirl and Chair/Lap dance, you can wear anything you're able to move around in! For Chair/Lap dancing, we suggest some leg warmers or knee pads to protect your knees as there is a lot of floor work!

How old do I have to be to join Pole Palace?

Here at Pole Palace we take students from 15 years old. Students under 18 must have parental consent but we would love to have you! All of our classes are appropriate for ages 15 and up, however if you do not want your under age daughter doing "pole dancing" as such, they can jump into our "Pole-aholics" class! There is no dancing involved, just pure strength training and tricks! A lot like gymnastics :)
We now also offer Aerial Silks and Lyra classes which are appropriate for all ages.

Do I have to perform at the end of my 8 week term?

Absolutely not! We do encourage it, as it is a lot of fun and a great chance to bring in your friends and family on the last class to show them everything you have achieved over the last 7 weeks! Also a great opportunity to dress up, take some photos and maybe even try to teach your guests a basic move or 2! (and then convince them to sign up for classes! hehe). If your class decides they do not want to perform, the class will just run as normal.

I missed my class because.......... What do I do?

No problem! You can do a catch up class! You can jump into another class of the same level, providing the space is avaliable, but if that time or day is not convenient for you, you can just jump into any of our casual classes that you can make. Make sure you book in to casuals through bookeo to secure your pole and use the code "catchup" when checking out. All catch up classes MUST be done within the 8 weeks of the term, they can not roll over to another term.

Where can I park?

There is PLENTY of parking at Pole Palace! We have onsite parking, as well as the whole of Taren Point Road (only a clearway from 6am to 10am, Monday to Friday) and also plenty of parking on Box Road. If you come by public transport, there is a bus stop right outside the studio!
